Role Overview

As a People AI & Automation Manager at Xentral, you will serve as the technological backbone of our People Team, bridging the gap between HR expertise and technical excellence. This role offers the exciting opportunity to create scalable infrastructure through intelligent systems, seamless interfaces, and cutting-edge AI implementation.

You'll be at the forefront of AI transformation in HR, experimenting with Agentic AI and LLM frameworks while building custom AI agents and sophisticated automated workflows. This position combines technical innovation with human-centric strategy, enabling you to revolutionize how our People & Org team operates across talent acquisition, learning & development, and organizational culture.

Responsibilities

Drive AI implementation within People & Org, experimenting with Agentic AI and LLM frameworks (Claude, Gemini)
Build and maintain custom AI agents and automated workflows using tools like n8n, Claude, Gemini, and various LLM frameworks
Support the entire People team in translating conceptual ideas into high-performing technical workflows
Automate manual bottlenecks across the entire People landscape from sourcing to performance cycles
Train People & Org colleagues on prompt engineering and new tool adoption
Ensure AI transformation is ethical, unbiased, and integrated into existing ATS (Lever) and HRIS ecosystems
Design and document complex workflows, mapping human processes into automated sequences
Structure and maintain data hygiene for LLM processing
Create materials for development plans, event planning, candidate sourcing and screening, and internal FAQ responses

Requirements

Background in Operations, Process Management, or comparable interface role
Strong experience in designing and documenting complex workflows
Natural aptitude for structuring data and understanding data relationships
Experience with Python, Google Scripts, or automation platforms (Zapier, Make, n8n)
High affinity for coding or low-code automation
Curiosity about Agentic AI and willingness to explore new tools
Fluent English language skills
Experimentalist mindset focused on system improvement

Nice to Have

Experience in People/Recruiting
Intermediate German language skills (B2 level)
Technical mindset with strong problem-solving abilities
