Role Overview

Join LUXASIA's Data & Analytics team as an AI Engineer focused on building and scaling cutting-edge agentic AI systems and automation workflows. You'll develop and deploy AI products from concept to full organizational rollout, creating intelligent assistants and automated workflows that transform how our business operates across marketing, operations, and commercial functions.

This role offers the opportunity to work with the latest AI technologies including LLMs, multi-step agentic workflows, and conversational AI while directly impacting business outcomes across LUXASIA's portfolio of 100+ luxury beauty brands. You'll be instrumental in building AI literacy across the organization and establishing best practices for AI development and deployment.

Responsibilities

Build, ship, and scale internal AI assistant from beta to full organizational deployment with usage tracking and continuous improvement
Develop key AI features including conversational memory, internet search integration, voice input, image generation, and natural language data querying
Design and build multi-step agentic AI workflows for commercial operations automation including task tracking, competitive pricing analysis, and campaign monitoring
Create human-in-the-loop interfaces for business users to review and approve AI-generated recommendations
Integrate AI agents with internal data platforms, ERP systems, CRM tools, and third-party APIs
Evaluate emerging AI platforms and tools against business use cases and provide structured recommendations
Implement guardrails, fallback handling, and monitoring for production AI agents
Contribute to internal AI training programs and run workshops to build AI literacy across the organization
Document AI systems for broader engineering team maintenance and extension

Requirements

2-5 years in software or ML engineering with 1-2 years hands-on production experience building LLM-based or agentic AI systems
Experience shipping AI features to real end users
Proficiency in LLM Application Development and Agentic/Multi-step AI Workflows
Experience with LangChain/AutoGen or equivalent frameworks
Strong prompt engineering skills
Proficiency in Python programming
Experience with REST API Integration
Knowledge of RAG (Retrieval Augmented Generation)
Experience with AI telemetry and monitoring

Nice to Have

Background in e-commerce, retail, or marketing technology
Experience with Azure OpenAI Service
Voice/Speech-to-Text capabilities
Image generation experience
Natural Language to SQL APIs
LLM evaluation frameworks
Marketing analytics experience
