Role Overview

We are seeking a Senior Marketing Automation Specialist with expertise in Marketo to drive our marketing automation strategy, oversee marketing automation platforms and collaborate with internal partners to develop optimal engagement strategies. This role will focus on designing, implementing, and managing automated marketing workflows, ensuring seamless integration with our CRM, and optimizing performance through data-driven decision-making.

Responsibilities

  • Administer and maintain Marketo system for enterprise-level environment
  • Develop and design end-to-end marketing automation campaigns including email marketing, lead nurturing, segmentation, and scoring
  • Implement A/B testing strategies to improve campaign performance
  • Monitor and troubleshoot deliverability, engagement, and performance metrics to optimize automation workflows
  • Conduct regular audits of marketing automation setup to improve efficiency
  • Manage lead engagement scoring models to improve qualification processes and handoff to Sales
  • Ensure optimal Marketo and CRM integration for lead tracking and reporting
  • Implement lead segmentation strategies to drive personalized experiences
  • Collaborate with demand generation, content marketing, sales, and audience manager teams to align automation strategies with business goals
  • Implement and manage Email Compliance and governance platforms
  • Provide reporting and analytics support
  • Create training and enablement programs for marketing automation tools

Requirements

  • 5+ years of hands-on experience in Marketo administration of an enterprise level environment (Adobe Marketo Engage)
  • Strong knowledge of marketing automation best practices, lead scoring, segmentation, and email marketing strategies
  • Experience integrating Marketo with CRM platforms (Salesforce, HubSpot, or similar)
  • Strong analytical skills with experience in reporting, performance tracking, and A/B testing
  • Excellent collaboration, communication and project management skills
  • Experience working with AI tools

Nice to Have

  • Marketo Certified Expert (MCE) certification
  • Experience with ABM platforms like Demandbase or 6sense
  • Familiarity with web personalization tools and dynamic content
  • Familiarity with Google Analytics, UTM tracking, and attribution models
  • Experience with other Adobe platforms
