Role Overview

The Senior Analyst, Program Management - AI/Automation Enablement serves as the functional lead and execution engine for high-impact AI-powered solutions at The Home Depot. This role bridges the gap between business strategy and technical delivery, translating the needs of Online Merchants and Brand Advocates into scalable, automated workflows.

Working with a "Balanced Team" of Data Science, IT, and UX professionals, you'll drive the development, integration, and adoption of agentic systems across 1-2 year program horizons. This position combines strong technical acumen in data architecture and SQL with a product-centric mindset to ensure technical roadmaps align with business realities.

You'll serve as the primary liaison between business stakeholders and technical teams, orchestrating the seamless embedding of AI tools into existing merchant workflows while ensuring solutions are user-friendly and technically scalable.

Responsibilities

Lead daily cadence and project rhythm for cross-functional teams of Data Science, IT, and UX partners
Orchestrate phased delivery of AI solutions, balancing sprint needs with long-term strategic goals
Manage program tracking against roadmap, focusing on schedule, scope, and resource alignment
Translate manual business processes into structured logic for AI and automation implementation
Define technical requirements, user stories, and acceptance criteria from business pain points
Serve as primary point of contact for Online Merchants and Brand Advocates
Coordinate seamless integration of AI tools into existing merchant workflows
Act as primary tester for AI outputs to ensure accuracy and reliability standards
Monitor tool performance and report on business outcomes to leadership
Support development of change management plans for AI-driven process adoption

Requirements

4+ years of professional experience in Product Management, Business Analysis, or Technical Program Management
2+ years of direct experience implementing AI, ML, or Automation solutions within business workflows
Demonstrated experience leading cross-functional teams in agile or sprint-based environments
Proficiency in SQL and experience with cloud data warehouses
Proven ability to translate business requirements into technical specifications and user stories
Experience driving technical products from requirements through deployment and user adoption
Must be 18+ years old and legally permitted to work in the United States

Nice to Have

Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Data Analytics, Business Information Systems, or equivalent
Prior experience as Product Owner or Lead Analyst in software development teams
Experience re-engineering manual processes into automated or AI-enabled workflows
Familiarity with Generative AI systems and enterprise application integration
Knowledge of data modeling concepts and data flow architecture
Retail or e-commerce experience supporting Online Merchants or Brand Advocates
Experience developing training materials and documentation for technical tool adoption
