Role Overview

We are seeking a Cold Email Outreach Specialist to drive pipeline growth through strategic outbound email campaigns. This role combines creative copywriting with technical campaign management to generate qualified leads for our sales teams.

You'll be responsible for the entire outbound email process - from researching and building targeted prospect lists to crafting compelling campaigns and managing deliverability. This is a data-driven role where you'll continuously optimize performance through A/B testing and metrics analysis while ensuring compliance with industry regulations.

The ideal candidate thrives in a remote environment, balancing creativity with analytical thinking to deliver consistent results in lead generation.

Responsibilities

  • Research and compile targeted prospect lists using ZoomInfo, Apollo, LinkedIn Sales Navigator, and other lead databases
  • Write compelling email copy including subject lines, body content, and CTAs tailored to prospect pain points
  • Build and launch multi-step email campaigns (4-8 touchpoints) over 10-21 day sequences
  • Manage email deliverability through domain warming, IP rotation, and spam score monitoring
  • A/B test campaign elements including subject lines, templates, send times, and messaging
  • Monitor and analyze campaign metrics including open rates, click rates, reply rates, and conversions
  • Qualify inbound responses and route warm leads to Account Executives with detailed notes
  • Maintain clean CRM records in Salesforce, HubSpot, or Zoho
  • Ensure all campaigns comply with CAN-SPAM, GDPR, and CCPA regulations
  • Segment contacts by persona, industry, geography, and ideal customer profile

Requirements

  • 1-2 years experience in outbound lead generation, SDR, or marketing campaign roles
  • Proficiency with cold email tools (Apollo, Lemlist, Instantly, Woodpecker, Smartlead)
  • Strong copywriting skills for sales outreach and email campaigns
  • Advanced Excel/Google Sheets skills for list management and data analysis
  • Experience with email deliverability management and best practices
  • Ability to work U.S. business hours with flexibility for campaign monitoring
  • Strong analytical skills and data-driven approach to optimization
  • Understanding of lead qualification and CRM management

Nice to Have

  • Experience managing sending domains and deliverability at scale
  • Background with B2B SaaS, marketing, or services companies
  • Familiarity with compliance frameworks (GDPR, CAN-SPAM, CCPA)
  • Basic technical skills including DNS records and SPF/DKIM/DMARC setup
  • Experience with email validation tools like NeverBounce, ZeroBounce, or Clearout
