Job Overview:
Our client is seeking an AI & Automation Lead to drive the practical implementation of AI across the business. This is a hands-on, execution-focused role where you will quickly learn how the business operates across sales, operations, customer service, supply chain, and finance, and identify opportunities to improve efficiency through AI.
You will be responsible for building and implementing real, working solutions—not just strategy or ideation—while contributing to measurable business outcomes and operational efficiency.
Responsibilities:
Quickly learn and understand business operations across multiple departments
Identify inefficiencies, manual processes, and high-impact opportunities for AI implementation
Build and deploy AI-driven solutions across sales, customer service, operations, and reporting
Improve workflows such as prospecting, follow-ups, ticket routing, reporting, and internal processes
Develop automation solutions across tools including CRM, ERP, and support platforms
Create dashboards, reporting systems, and business intelligence insights
Drive adoption of AI tools across teams and ensure practical usage
Collaborate with stakeholders to iterate and refine solutions based on feedback
Own execution from problem identification through to solution delivery
Must-Have:
3+ years experience in AI, automation, or systems/process improvement roles
Proven experience building and implementing AI or automation solutions in a business environment
Hands-on experience with tools such as ChatGPT, APIs, Zapier, Make, or similar
Experience working across business systems such as CRM, ERP, or customer support platforms
Strong ability to identify inefficiencies and translate them into practical solutions
Demonstrated ability to execute quickly and deliver measurable outcomes
Strong communication skills and ability to work cross-functionally
Nice-to-Have:
Experience working with NetSuite, HubSpot, Zendesk, EZ Stock, Power BI, or Microsoft 365
Experience in operations, business intelligence, or process optimization
Familiarity with sales, customer service, or supply chain workflows
Experience in fast-paced, high-growth, or project-based environments
