Role Overview
About Us
Join us in building the leading AI-Powered Mission Control for Corporate Travel. Some of the world's most recognizable companies, representing over $4T in market value, rely on Clarasight's software to reduce risks, save costs, protect revenues, and manage emissions aligned with business objectives and sustainability goals.
About You
You are curious, scrappy, and obsessed with automating anything that shouldn't be done twice. You see AI tools as leverage — not a novelty — and you're already using them to move faster in your own work.
You don't need to be a professional engineer, but you're comfortable writing small scripts with AI help, stitching tools together in Zapier, n8n, or Make, and learning new platforms quickly when the problem demands it.
You want to be part of a small team where your work has real commercial impact, and you thrive when you're given a messy problem, a short deadline, and room to figure it out.
About the Role
We are hiring an AI Automation Intern to support Clarasight's growth and business operations engines by building AI-powered workflows that compound the team's output.
You'll work directly with founders, sales, marketing, and operations to identify repetitive, manual, or slow workflows — and turn them into automations that save hours and unlock new capabilities.
This is a build role, not a research role. You'll ship working automations, iterate on them with the team, and help define how Clarasight uses AI internally as we scale.
Key Responsibilities
Build AI-Powered Automations
Identify repetitive or high-leverage workflows across growth and business ops and turn them into automations using AI-native and no-code tools (e.g., Clay, Zapier, n8n, Make, Claude, OpenAI APIs).
Prototype, test, and ship automations end-to-end — from first draft to handoff.
Write small scripts (with AI assistance) where no-code tools fall short.
Support Growth
Help automate lead research, enrichment, and outreach workflows for sales and marketing.
Support ABM, event, and content workflows by building data pipelines or AI-assisted drafting tools.
Pull signals from customer data, public sources, and internal systems into usable outputs for the GTM team.
Support Business Operations
Automate reporting, data cleanup, and internal coordination tasks across the company.
Help build lightweight internal tooling that makes the team faster — dashboards, trackers, AI-assisted workflows.
Document what you build so others can run and extend it.
You'll Be a Great Fit If You…
Are a current student or recent grad (summer internship or part-time during the school year both work).
Have already built something with AI tools — a personal project, a class project, an automation at a previous role.
Are comfortable using AI to help you write code, even if you're not a trained engineer.
Have hands-on experience with at least one no-code/workflow tool (Zapier, n8n, Make, Clay, Airtable, or similar).
Can communicate clearly and work independently with minimal direction.
Are excited by early-stage startup environments where priorities shift and ownership is real.
Nice to Haves
Familiarity with SQL, Python, or JavaScript basics.
Experience with LLM APIs (OpenAI, Anthropic) or AI agent frameworks.
Prior internship or project experience in growth, marketing, sales ops, or business ops.
Background or interest in corporate travel, sustainability, or enterprise SaaS.
Diverse Perspectives
We know that innovation thrives on teams where diverse points of view come together to solve hard problems in ways that are just now possible. As such, we explicitly seek people that bring diverse life experiences, diverse educational backgrounds, diverse cultures, and diverse work experiences. Please be prepared to share with us how your perspective will bring something unique and valuable to our team.
