Role Overview

Join 1KOMMA5° as an AI Automation Architect and help build the energy system of the future. You'll be the person who identifies automation opportunities that others overlook and builds solutions that reclaim lost time across the organization. Instead of accepting "that's just how we do things here," you'll transform manual processes, redundant workflows, and inefficient systems into intelligent, automated solutions.

This role puts you at the forefront of AI transformation, working with cutting-edge tools like LLMs, agent frameworks, MCP servers, and workflow automation platforms. You'll have direct access to real automation challenges across all departments, with the freedom to choose the right technology stack for each problem. Your work will directly impact productivity while removing the most tedious aspects of your colleagues' daily tasks.

Responsibilities

Identify and analyze automation opportunities across all company departments
Design and implement AI-powered workflow solutions using various automation platforms
Build and orchestrate specialized agent teams that collaborate and self-monitor
Transform manual processes into intelligent, automated systems
Work directly with stakeholders to understand and solve real business problems
Select and implement appropriate technology stacks for different automation challenges
Develop solutions using LLMs, agent frameworks, and workflow automation tools
Continuously evaluate and integrate new AI technologies and tools

Requirements

Strong workflow thinking and process design capabilities
Extensive experience with automation platforms (n8n, Make, Zapier, Windmill)
Deep knowledge of LLMs beyond ChatGPT (Claude, Gemini, local models)
Experience building agent teams and multi-agent orchestration systems
Understanding of AI capabilities like Tool Use, Structured Outputs, and Prompt Caching
Proven ability to deliver practical solutions from innovative ideas
Passion for staying current with AI technology releases and developments
Focus on enhancing colleague productivity rather than replacing human work

Nice to Have

Experience with MCP servers and advanced workflow frameworks
Background in process optimization and efficiency improvement
Knowledge of API integrations and system synchronization
Experience in energy or sustainability sectors
