Role Overview

Join Platzhirschen, a performance marketing agency specializing in B2B services and lead generation. We view Google Ads not as a click machine, but as a growth lever for our clients. We've built our own AI-powered system that automates audits, analyses, and reports, allowing us to focus on what truly matters: strategy, offers, tracking, and clean execution.

In this role, you'll work with modern tools, make your own decisions, and see the direct impact of your work on client results. We're small enough for you to shape the direction, yet professional enough to make it enjoyable. You'll think in leads, not clicks, understanding that poor CPA rarely stems from keywords but usually from tracking, offers, or landing pages.

Responsibilities

  • Manage your own client accounts from setup through ongoing optimization to strategy calls
  • Build Google Ads campaigns (Search, Performance Max) that deliver actual leads, not just traffic
  • Write ad copy (RSAs) that aligns with landing pages and derive angles from genuine offer USPs
  • Think in funnels: Keyword → Landing Page → Form → Lead and identify weak points
  • Set up clean conversion tracking (GA4, GTM, Conversion Actions, Attribution) and recognize when tracking is broken
  • Conduct keyword research, search term mining, and systematically manage negative keywords
  • Continuously optimize for CPA/CPL and allocate budgets where they perform best
  • Lead reporting meetings with clients, explain numbers clearly, and manage strategic communication
  • Work with our AI system that handles data pulls, audits, and reports so you can focus on strategy

Requirements

  • Ability to independently set up, structure, and scale Google Ads campaigns (Search, ideally also Performance Max)
  • Experience in lead generation for B2B, service providers, trades, SaaS, or similar sectors
  • Understanding of conversion tracking (GA4, GTM, Conversion Actions) and ability to identify tracking issues
  • Think in terms of CPA/CPL and ability to read unit economics
  • Write clear ad copy that matches landing page messaging (Message-Match)
  • Communicate in a structured manner - internally through documentation, externally in client calls at eye level
  • Work independently, document cleanly, and maintain organized structures

Nice to Have

  • Funnel and landing page building experience (Framer, Elementor, WordPress)
  • Server-side tracking, offline conversion import, CRO fundamentals
  • Experience with Meta Ads, LinkedIn Ads, or TikTok Ads
  • Interest in working productively with AI tools in the marketing stack
