Role Overview

Join Wellhub's New Ventures team as an AI Automation Lead, where you'll architect the "operating system" for new business models. This role focuses on building automated workflows using no-code/low-code tools and AI to replace manual tasks, enabling rapid scaling without traditional software development or large operational teams.

You'll be responsible for designing complex automation systems using tools like n8n, integrating AI agents for operational tasks, and creating seamless data flows between various platforms. This is an opportunity to drive real business impact by transforming manual processes into intelligent, scalable automation solutions.

Responsibilities

Design, build, and maintain complex workflows using n8n, Make, or Zapier
Connect various platforms (CRMs, ERPs, Spreadsheets) via APIs and Webhooks
Configure and integrate Large Language Models (LLMs) into automated flows
Handle operational tasks such as lead triaging, document analysis, and automated customer interactions
Structure simple relational databases in tools like Airtable or Notion
Audit and map manual processes across ventures for automation opportunities
Replace manual tasks with automated "robots" to ensure consistency and scalability
Ensure seamless data flow between different SaaS tools using JSON and API calls
Sync information across ecosystems without writing custom backend code

Requirements

Expert-level proficiency in n8n, Make, or similar orchestration tools
Experience handling Webhooks, API documentation, and JSON structures
Advanced knowledge of AI APIs (OpenAI, Anthropic, etc.) and prompt engineering
Experience in multi-sided or two-sided marketplace companies managing service providers
Strong logical thinking and ability to map business operations as interconnected flows
Proven ability to deliver working automations quickly (hours rather than weeks)
Business operations focus with technology problem-solving approach
Fluency in English (mandatory requirement)
Prior experience with AI tools (mandatory requirement)

Nice to Have

Experience with visual builders and ready-made integrations
Background working in fast-paced, ambiguous "New Ventures" environments
Experience with companies like Uber, Rappi, Ifood, or similar platforms
Preference for pragmatic building over custom software development
