Role Overview

Join Koin Limited as a Claude AI & Automation Specialist and lead the AI transformation of a fast-growing, multi-brand e-commerce group operating across the UK, USA, Canada, and Australia. This is a newly created lead-level role at the center of Koin's AI-first strategy, where you'll drive the adoption and implementation of Claude across every function of the business.

As the Claude AI & Automation Specialist, you'll focus on identifying manual, repetitive, or inefficient processes across all departments and designing Claude-powered solutions that save time, reduce costs, and improve output quality. Beyond automation, you'll play a crucial role in upskilling the entire team through training programs, coaching, and creating reusable tools that enable AI-augmented work as the default standard.

This role offers the opportunity to work with cutting-edge AI technology across Claude's full suite including Chat, Cowork, and Code, while building intelligent multi-step workflows and agent-based architectures. You'll collaborate cross-functionally with marketing, operations, finance, customer service, and systems teams to transform how the business operates and scales.

Responsibilities

Design, build, and maintain Claude-powered automations that deliver measurable time and cost savings
Develop multi-step workflows integrating Claude with existing business systems and tools
Design and implement agent-based architectures including sub-agents and orchestration agents
Build and maintain reusable prompt templates, Claude Projects, and automation patterns
Design and deliver structured training programmes to upskill team members in effective AI usage
Create formal training materials including guides, video walkthroughs, and reference documentation
Provide one-to-one coaching and support to help individuals integrate AI into their workflows
Develop and refine prompting strategies to maximize accuracy and quality of Claude's outputs
Research and evaluate new AI tools, models, and capabilities relevant to business operations
Work cross-functionally to understand workflows and pain points across all departments

Requirements

Demonstrable deep expertise with Claude across all surfaces including Chat, Cowork, and Code
Proven track record of using AI to automate business processes and deliver measurable efficiency gains
Strong prompt engineering skills with ability to design, test, and iterate on complex prompts
Experience designing and building agent-based workflows including sub-agents and orchestration agents
Experience training and upskilling non-technical team members in AI tools and workflows
Comfortable with light coding including APIs (REST, webhooks, OAuth), JSON, and basic scripting
Strong understanding of workflow automation concepts including triggers, conditions, and data mapping
Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills with ability to break down complex processes
Strong written and spoken English with ability to create clear documentation and training materials
Self-directed working style, able to manage workload independently in remote environment aligned with UK business hours

Nice to Have

Experience with automation platforms such as Make, n8n, Zapier, or similar workflow tools
Familiarity with other AI platforms and models (e.g. OpenAI, Gemini, Perplexity)
Experience with Python or JavaScript scripting
Background in e-commerce or multi-brand business operations
Understanding of data pipelines and integration platforms
