Role Overview

Join Medavie's Generative AI and Automation Centre of Excellence as an AI & Automation Delivery Lead, where you'll drive high-impact technology solutions from concept to scaled adoption. This role offers the opportunity to influence how technology improves health outcomes for millions of Canadians while working in a collaborative environment that values innovation and growth.

As a Delivery Lead, you'll bridge strategy, technology, and business operations—coordinating cross-functional teams to move AI and automation use cases through discovery, pilot, production, and scaled adoption phases. You'll be part of a passionate team of technology experts focused exclusively on innovative AI and automation solutions that enable Medavie to drive progress in healthcare delivery.

Responsibilities

Own end-to-end delivery plans including scope, schedule, budget, risks, and dependencies for AI/automation initiatives
Align stakeholders on goals, success measures, and capability requirements
Lead cross-functional teams across product, engineering, data, security, privacy, and business functions
Drive change management and adoption planning to ensure solutions deliver measurable business value
Provide clear reporting to leadership and proactively escalate issues with recommended solutions
Continuously improve delivery practices, templates, and ways of working within the COE
Coordinate internal and external resources across multiple functional areas
Manage multiple parallel initiatives that include AI and/or automation components

Requirements

8+ years in digital product delivery and/or progressive project management
5+ years partnering directly with senior leaders
Proven success delivering projects/programs with varying levels of complexity, funding, and stakeholder impact
Experience leading multiple parallel initiatives that include AI and/or automation
Exceptional communication skills and high emotional intelligence
Ability to adapt communication style for technical, operational, and executive audiences
University degree or equivalent
Must have resided in Canada for at least 5 years with Permanent Resident or Canadian Citizenship status
Ability to obtain Reliability Status Clearance (Enhanced Level B) including fingerprinting, criminal record check, and credit check

Nice to Have

Project Management certification (e.g., PMP)
Working knowledge of delivery tools (e.g., Clarity, Jira, Microsoft 365)
Familiarity with agentic/automation platforms such as Microsoft Power Platform (including Copilot) and AWS Bedrock
Strong industry and business acumen
Experience with change management and adoption focus
