Role Overview

Join Thales' Information Systems Department as an RPA Developer Engineer in an exciting alternance program at our Vélizy-Villacoublay campus. You'll work at the forefront of digital transformation, developing robotic process automation solutions that eliminate repetitive, low-value tasks across the organization.

Working collaboratively with Business and IT teams, you'll design, develop, and deploy RPA solutions using UiPath to automate business processes within our information systems. This role offers hands-on experience in the complete RPA lifecycle, from requirements gathering to production deployment and ongoing optimization.

You'll be part of Thales' strategic initiative to optimize information systems through intelligent automation, contributing to a more efficient and streamlined digital workplace while gaining valuable experience in cutting-edge automation technologies.

Responsibilities

Collect and analyze business requirements by meeting with operational teams and identifying processes for automation
Create formal process documentation including BPMN diagrams and workflow specifications
Write functional and technical specifications describing expected robot behavior
Develop automation bots using UiPath Studio with UI activities, OCR, API calls, and database access
Design and execute unit and integration test scenarios, validating results with end users
Deploy robots to UiPath Orchestrator and configure execution schedules and monitoring alerts
Monitor bot performance through logs and KPIs, manage incidents and update operational documentation
Analyze feedback and propose optimizations while sharing best practices within the RPA Center of Excellence

Requirements

Engineering degree program seeking alternance/apprenticeship opportunity
Proficiency in C# and JavaScript programming languages
Strong knowledge of relational and/or object databases
Demonstrated rigor, motivation, and teamwork skills
Understanding of software development principles and methodologies

Nice to Have

Experience in information systems development or automation/RPA
Knowledge of UiPath platform
Familiarity with Git and GitLab version control systems
Experience with BPMN process modeling
