Role Overview

Join Byrd as a Working Student in AI & Automation and build real AI agents and workflows that directly impact our agency operations and client success. You'll work on implementing AI-driven process automation using LLMs combined with automation platforms like n8n, creating tangible solutions that run in our daily business environment.

This role offers hands-on experience in developing agent-based workflows that autonomously handle recurring tasks such as data preparation, classification, summarization, and routing. You'll be working with cutting-edge AI technology while building robust technical infrastructure and integrating systems within our existing tool landscape.

Responsibilities

Implement AI-driven process automation using LLMs combined with automation platforms like n8n
Design and build AI agent workflows for autonomous execution of recurring tasks
Integrate automation systems with existing tool landscape and ensure reliable data flows
Build secure technical infrastructure with proper API key management, error handling, and logging
Create comprehensive documentation of workflows, prompts, system architectures, and configurations
Break down requirements into technical tasks and execute them independently
Ensure proper permission structures and security protocols across all implementations

Requirements

Currently enrolled in Bachelor's or Master's program in Computer Science, Business Informatics, Data Science, or related field
Basic Python skills including scripting, API integration, and data structures
Experience and strong interest in LLM-based applications including prompt engineering and agent concepts
Practical experience with automation platforms like n8n, including workflow design and API integrations
Understanding of IT security fundamentals including authentication and secure credential management
Independent, structured working style with ability to decompose requirements into technical tasks
Excellent German language skills (written and spoken)

Nice to Have

English language proficiency
Experience with Function Calling and Openclaw
Background in data science or related analytical fields
