Role Overview

Join esVolta's IT department for an exciting eight-week summer internship focused on AI-driven automation. As a leading developer and operator of utility-scale energy storage projects across North America, esVolta is at the forefront of transitioning the nation's electric grid to a cleaner, more reliable future.

This hands-on internship will provide valuable experience in identifying AI automation opportunities, integrating solutions into existing IT systems, and delivering measurable operational improvements. You'll work directly with cutting-edge AI tools and automation platforms while contributing to real-world projects that impact the company's growth and efficiency.

Responsibilities

Analyze IT workflows to identify processes suitable for AI-based automation
Develop and implement AI-driven automation prototypes to streamline operations
Integrate AI tools into existing IT systems ensuring smooth operation
Document automation workflows and present findings to stakeholders
Deliver efficiency metrics and measurable improvement reports
Collaborate with IT team members on system integration projects

Requirements

Currently pursuing a degree in computer science, information systems, or related field
Basic understanding of AI concepts and automation tools
Experience with RPA or AI platforms
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
Interest in system integration and IT process optimization
Ability to travel to company offices and project sites
