Role Overview

Cerity Partners is building a data-driven Lead Generation Laboratory to systematically surface, enrich, and route high-quality prospects across the firm. As Platform Owner, you'll serve as the technical and operational backbone of this effort, owning the enrichment infrastructure, managing the Lead Lab's analyst team, and serving as the critical link between data systems and revenue-generating advisors.

This is a build-and-operate role for a technically fluent operator who thrives at the intersection of financial services, CRM systems, and modern data tooling. You'll have direct impact on Capital Solutions' ability to identify new clients and expand wallet share across Cerity Partner's client base, working with cutting-edge AI-powered enrichment tools and signal detection technologies.

Responsibilities

  • Own and administer all Lead Lab data platforms, including wealth identification, enrichment, relationship mapping, and financial trigger monitoring tools
  • Monitor vendor developments, evaluate new functionality, and manage contract renewals and vendor relationships
  • Lead ongoing platform rationalization to eliminate redundancy and maximize utilization across the enrichment stack
  • Build and maintain enrichment flows into Salesforce leads, prospects, and client records
  • Ensure data quality, deduplication, and freshness across the firm's ~50,000-person client base
  • Implement and maintain Microsoft Graph API integration to surface historical email connections between advisors and prospective clients
  • Directly manage two Lead Lab Analysts, setting priorities and reviewing outputs
  • Own the Lead Lab's reporting infrastructure, including dashboards and weekly scored lead batch delivery
  • Serve as key liaison between Central Solutions, Partner Development, and technical execution teams
  • Stay current on emerging AI-powered enrichment tools and signal detection technologies

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree required
  • 5-10+ years of experience in financial services, wealth management, or data/operations role in complex professional services environment
  • Strong working knowledge of Salesforce CRM with hands-on configuration or administration experience
  • Technical comfort with APIs and data integration concepts
  • Ability to communicate with engineers and translate business needs into technical requirements
  • Highly organized with track record of managing multiple vendor relationships and complex data workflows
  • Strong communication skills to translate data insights into actionable guidance for advisors and leadership
  • Must thrive in fast-moving, build-phase environment with evolving priorities

Nice to Have

  • Advanced degree in finance, data, or related field
  • Experience with data orchestration tools (e.g., Clay) or workflow automation platforms
  • Familiarity with financial planning tools such as eMoney, Holistiplan, or Addepar/Orion
  • Prior experience managing direct reports or a small team
  • Familiarity with wealth data platforms such as Windfall, Equilar, Aidentified, BoardEx, or similar tools
