Role Overview

Join Nightwing's dynamic team as an AI Automation Specialist supporting the Postal Service CISO organization. In this role, you'll design, develop, and implement cutting-edge AI-driven systems to automate complex business processes using advanced technologies including Robotic Process Automation (RPA), Machine Learning (ML), and Natural Language Processing (NLP).

You'll work in a hybrid on-premises Windows/Unix/Linux and cloud-based environment, collaborating across CISO Security and CIO teams to automate workflows, ensure data integrity, and support mission-critical operations. This position offers the opportunity to leverage the latest automation technologies while contributing to national security initiatives.

The role requires expertise in system architecture, workflow design, coding/scripting, and building processes using Postal tools. You'll have the chance to work with state-of-the-art platforms and tools while solving complex automation challenges in a cybersecurity context.

Responsibilities

Create, configure, and deploy automated systems combining AI, machine learning, RPA bots, Microsoft Power Tools, Databricks, and Splunk
Analyze repetitive, time-consuming business processes to determine recommended automation solutions using Postal tools
Write and update code, build custom scripts, and integrate AI models into existing infrastructure
Monitor and optimize automation performance, troubleshoot errors, and ensure system scalability
Collaborate with IT and CISO stakeholders to define key performance indicators (KPIs) and align automation with organizational goals
Analyze large datasets using multiple tools to uncover patterns for process optimization
Troubleshoot complex data ingestion and parsing issues
Perform occasional off-hours or weekend efforts for automation implementation, maintenance, and upgrades

Requirements

5+ years of hands-on automation experience
Proficiency in scripting, Python, Java, and/or R programming languages
Experience with AI/ML libraries and low-code/no-code tools
Hands-on experience with Microsoft Power Tools, Splunk, Databricks, SharePoint, Okta automation, and ServiceNow
Experience with cloud platforms (AWS, GCP, Azure) and RPA platforms
Knowledge of Business Process Management (BPM) and workflow optimization
Exposure to network security or cybersecurity
Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, IT, or related field, or 10 years equivalent experience
Ability to obtain and maintain U.S. government security clearance
U.S. citizenship required
