Role Overview

As Marketing Automation Manager at Statista, you'll design and implement data-driven, AI-powered improvements across our marketing systems and technology stack. This role offers the opportunity to partner with Product, Marketing, and Engineering teams to transform complex funnels into scalable, automated experiences that accelerate experimentation and growth.

You'll be at the forefront of marketing innovation, driving AI-driven automation use cases across Marketing, Sales, and Product while optimizing the lead-to-customer funnel. This position combines strategic thinking with hands-on execution, allowing you to shape the next generation of intelligent marketing automation in a privacy-first environment.

Responsibilities

  • Drive design and rollout of AI-driven automation use cases across Marketing, Sales and Product (lead enrichment, content generation, predictive segmentation)
  • Analyze and optimize the lead-to-customer funnel to reduce drop-off, improve qualification and increase activation
  • Co-own evolution of lead scoring model, defining new behavioral, firmographic and product-usage signals
  • Partner with UX/UI, Marketing and Data teams to design and evaluate A/B and multivariate tests across landing pages and lead flows
  • Build consent-aware journey enablement components (segments, decision trees, templates) for CRM and Sales automation scaling
  • Use analytics tools to identify bottlenecks and measure automation impact
  • Feed insights into marketing tech roadmap and product strategy in alignment with Engineering
  • Translate technical requirements for engineering teams and make complex topics understandable for non-technical stakeholders

Requirements

  • 3-5 years of experience in Product, Growth, Marketing Operations, Performance Marketing or CRM
  • Experience in B2B or digital-first environment
  • Strong analytical mindset with hands-on A/B testing and funnel analysis experience
  • Working knowledge of Braze (or similar), CDPs, CMS platforms and automation frameworks
  • Excellent communication skills for cross-functional collaboration
  • Ability to align technical and non-technical stakeholders
  • Sound understanding of GDPR and privacy-first marketing principles
  • Knowledge of consent and data minimization requirements

  • Deep experience implementing AI-based workflows or predictive models in marketing technology environments
