Role Overview

Join PropLogix as an AI Automation Engineer I and build cutting-edge AI workflows and automation systems that power real-world applications. This remote role offers the opportunity to work with modern AI tools, agent frameworks, and contribute to production systems from day one.

You'll focus on implementing LLM-powered workflows, integrating APIs into automated processes, and building browser automation solutions using tools like Playwright and Puppeteer. This position combines AI development with practical automation engineering, offering experience across both AI and application development in a collaborative environment that values code quality and maintainability.

Responsibilities

Implement AI workflows using LLMs and agentic frameworks
Integrate APIs and external services into automated processes
Build browser automation workflows using Playwright, Puppeteer, or similar tools
Handle structured inputs/outputs and schema validation
Debug and improve reliability of automated AI-driven tasks
Evaluate LLM quality and reliability over time
Automate multi-step web interactions and data collection workflows
Handle dynamic web content and failure scenarios
Write and maintain tests using pytest
Implement logging, tracing, and safeguards for agentic systems

Requirements

Hands-on Python development experience in real-world applications
Experience building APIs using FastAPI
Proficiency with typed code using mypy or similar static type checking tools
Experience with AI agent or orchestration frameworks (e.g., LangGraph)
Experience building or supporting AI/LLM workflows, agents, or orchestration systems
Basic familiarity with CI/CD pipelines and automated testing workflows
Experience with Git-based development processes
Understanding of cloud deployment and application hosting
Familiarity with browser automation frameworks

Nice to Have

Experience with MCP, tool-connected workflows, or multi-step context management
Familiarity with AI-assisted development tools (Claude Code, Codex, Cursor)
Experience with Azure DevOps for CI/CD
AWS experience for application hosting and infrastructure
Experience with prompt/context management
Background in structured outputs and schema validation
