Role Overview

Join StartupBlink as a Lead Generation Specialist and help shape the future of global startup ecosystems from anywhere in the world. You'll work with governments, innovation agencies, and global corporations to help cities and countries grow their startup ecosystems, gaining exposure to partnerships, consulting, marketing, and ecosystem intelligence.

In this role, you'll help grow StartupBlink's pipeline by identifying new opportunities, reaching out to relevant stakeholders, handling inbound interest, and scheduling calls for the team. You'll work with a team of highly motivated individuals in a fully remote environment, with real ownership, visible impact, and a clear learning path as the company scales.

This position offers an exciting opportunity to build critical career skills while working with impressive global partners in the startup and innovation space.

Responsibilities

  • Identify and research potential leads globally, including governments, innovation agencies, corporates, and ecosystem organizations
  • Find the right decision-makers and build targeted prospect lists
  • Conduct outbound outreach through email, LinkedIn, and other relevant channels
  • Follow up consistently to generate interest and book meetings
  • Handle inbound leads, respond professionally, and qualify opportunities
  • Schedule calls for relevant team members and ensure smooth handover
  • Keep lead tracking systems and CRM records updated and organized
  • Support partnerships and sales teams with market research and lead qualification
  • Contribute to improving outreach messaging, follow-up processes, and pipeline management

Requirements

  • Fluent in professional English (mandatory)
  • Strong research, communication, and relationship-building skills
  • Comfortable reaching out to new people and building professional connections
  • Organized and able to manage multiple follow-ups and conversations simultaneously
  • Comfortable working in a remote international team
  • Persistent, proactive, and not afraid of outreach
  • Curious about startups, innovation, and global ecosystems
  • Available to work within European time zone

Nice to Have

  • Experience in sales development, lead generation, partnerships, or business development
  • Familiarity with CRM tools and outreach workflows
  • Comfortable using LinkedIn, Google Sheets/Excel, and email outreach tools
  • Familiarity with startup ecosystems, innovation programs, or public sector stakeholders
  • Previous experience with startups, accelerators, ecosystem builders, or consulting teams
