Role Overview

Join Columbia Threadneedle Investments as a Marketing Automation Manager for a 7-month fixed-term contract, where you'll play a pivotal role in delivering market-leading marketing automation capabilities across EMEA. This position offers the opportunity to work with cutting-edge Marketing Cloud Engagement platform technology while supporting strategic initiatives that connect the organization with prospects and clients across all B2B and D2C channels.

You'll be at the center of creating and managing sophisticated marketing automation assets including customer journeys, emails, landing pages, and data extensions. This role combines technical expertise with strategic thinking, as you'll collaborate across multiple teams including marketing, technology, compliance, and legal to ensure robust, compliant, and scalable automation solutions that drive engagement with key target audiences and support lead generation for Focus Funds.

The position offers excellent exposure to enterprise-level marketing automation in a global investment management environment, with opportunities to build strong cross-functional relationships and contribute to broader marketing strategy delivery.

Responsibilities

Support development and maintenance of Columbia Threadneedle's marketing automation platform across all B2B and D2C channels
Create Marketing Cloud Engagement assets including journeys, emails, landing pages, smart capture forms, and data extensions
Deliver timely system updates in line with company risk appetite and policies
Build and maintain strong working relationships with marketing, distribution, technology, compliance, and legal teams
Collaborate with marketing stakeholders and technology teams to ensure effective asset creation and deployment
Manage controls and governance for Marketing Cloud Engagement platform access across teams
Raise awareness and understanding across Marketing Cloud users to enable successful delivery
Support delivery of broader marketing strategy and key initiatives
Serve as advocate for appropriate use of marketing automation capabilities with CRM data understanding

Requirements

Proven experience with Marketing Cloud Engagement platform and key capabilities
Expertise in Email Studio, Web Studio, Journey Builder, Content Builder, and Audience Builder
Experience in marketing automation platform management and campaign delivery
Experience working with technology teams on marketing automation projects
Experience in lead generation and email's role in integrated B2B campaigns
Strong attention to detail and quality control
Proactive approach with ability to take ownership of projects
Excellent written and verbal communication skills

Nice to Have

Graduate degree or relevant professional qualification
Working knowledge of Salesforce CRM
Experience with other industry standard marketing automation tools
