Role Overview

Join AI Acquisition as an Automation Architect where you'll be the bridge between raw ideas and working automations, transforming chaotic processes into clean, reliable systems. This is a hands-on, client-facing role where you'll architect and build n8n workflows across sales, operations, onboarding, and internal systems while working directly with founders and businesses to solve real automation challenges.

You'll run live client sessions, troubleshoot in real-time, and translate complex technical concepts into clear solutions that non-technical stakeholders can understand. This isn't a back-office role—you'll be building production-grade workflows that clients use daily, while continuously improving templates and overall workflow architecture.

Responsibilities

Architect, build, and optimize n8n workflows across sales, ops, onboarding, and internal systems
Run live client sessions to troubleshoot, guide, and build automations in real time
Integrate n8n with CRMs, Airtable, Google Sheets, APIs, webhooks, databases, and SaaS tools
Write and maintain JavaScript within n8n workflows
Debug workflows and refactor code for optimal performance
Translate client requirements into working automations and scalable solutions
Build data syncing, trigger-based automations, scheduled workflows, and data enrichment pipelines
Ensure workflows are scalable, documented, and reusable
Spot patterns in client problems and develop repeatable solutions
Collaborate with delivery, ops, and consultants to improve overall systems

Requirements

Serious hands-on experience with n8n (non-negotiable)
Strong understanding of APIs, webhooks, and automation logic
Ability to write and debug JavaScript within automation tools
Experience building workflows that run reliably in production environments
Comfortable working across multiple tools, systems, and edge cases
Ability to run client-facing calls confidently
Strong communication skills to explain technical concepts to non-technical people
Calm and professional demeanor when troubleshooting issues
High ownership mentality and ability to work independently
Organized, reliable, and proactive working style

Nice to Have

Experience with Airtable, CRMs, or data-heavy workflows
Exposure to AI/LLM integrations
Background in consulting, solutions engineering, or technical support
Experience supporting founders or non-technical clients
