Join Molecular Devices, a Danaher operating company, as a Cellular Workflow Automation Specialist and play a crucial role in advancing life sciences research. In this position, you'll drive sales of cutting-edge automation technologies including Colony Pickers, Clone Imaging, Single Cell Dispensing, Bioprinting, and Automated Cell Culture solutions that empower researchers in academia, biotech, pharma, and government to accelerate scientific discovery.

This remote role covers the West US territory and offers the opportunity to build meaningful relationships with customers while contributing to groundbreaking science that enhances lives globally. You'll be part of a collaborative team focused on growing market share and revenue in the rapidly evolving cellular workflow automation space.

Responsibilities

Achieve North America revenue goals and targets for the Cellular Workflow Automation product platform in assigned territory
Build and maintain strong customer relationships to grow market share, revenue, and profitability
Maintain accurate and up-to-date customer database in Salesforce.com
Generate accurate monthly forecasting for assigned territory
Perform lead generation activities including eblasts, seminars, and work days with business partners
Attend and participate in regional and local product shows as brand ambassador
Sell capital equipment solutions to life sciences, biotech, pharma, academic research labs, contract labs, and government installations

Requirements

Bachelor's Degree or higher in a related Life Sciences discipline
Minimum of 5 years of capital equipment sales experience in life science industry
Knowledge of cell line development, cell culture and automation technology
Track record of successful capital equipment sales and customer-facing experience
Willingness to travel up to 50%
Valid driver's license with acceptable driving record

Nice to Have

Knowledge of cellular imaging technology
Experience with Microsoft applications
Experience with Salesforce.com and CRM databases
