Role Overview

Join Human Intelligence as a No-Code Automation Specialist and help build AI-enabled systems that power mission-critical workflows across operations, marketing, clinical pathways, and analytics. You'll work with cutting-edge no-code platforms to create robust, production-grade automations that drive real business impact.

This remote contractor role offers the opportunity to design and implement complex automation flows using GoHighLevel, Zapier, and n8n, while working with AI integrations and modern workflow technologies. You'll be responsible for building reliable, monitored systems that handle everything from CRM operations to payment processing and data analytics.

We're looking for someone who understands that automation isn't just about connecting tools—it's about creating resilient systems with proper error handling, monitoring, and documentation that can scale in production environments.

Responsibilities

Own the complete automation lifecycle from discovery through design, build, and monitoring for mission-critical workflows
Implement production-grade flows with webhooks, retries, queues, structured logging, and alerts
Build automations across CRM, messaging, payments, and analytics systems
Ensure data hygiene, PII/PHI protections, secrets management, and proper permissioning
Design and implement error-handling, logging, retries, and idempotency for all flows
Create monitoring dashboards and rollback plans for automation systems
Deliver clear documentation and runbooks for system handover
Maintain versioned documentation for all automation workflows

Requirements

Proven experience building complex automations in GoHighLevel plus Zapier or n8n
Strong expertise with API and webhook integrations
Advanced skills in error handling, logging, retry mechanisms, and idempotency
Experience implementing monitoring and alerting for automation systems
Ability to create clear documentation and present flows effectively
Strong English communication skills
Capability to provide screenshots of complex flows and 2-minute Loom explanations

Nice to Have

Basic JavaScript or Python scripting skills for glue logic
Experience with Stripe integrations
Experience with LLM tool integrations
Background in clinical or regulated data workflows
