Role Overview

Join Gartner as a Business/Lead Generation Manager and play a pivotal role in supporting our Consulting VPs with client-centric marketing initiatives. In this dynamic position, you'll be at the intersection of sales and marketing, driving lead generation efforts and providing critical support to help enterprise leaders succeed with their mission-critical priorities.

This role offers the opportunity to work with diverse internal teams across Gartner's business units while building external relationships with clients, prospects, and technology professionals. You'll be the go-to person for departmental inquiries and contribute to strategic initiatives that directly impact our client engagement and business growth.

As part of a global team of over 21,000 associates supporting approximately 14,000 client enterprises across 90+ countries, you'll contribute to meaningful work that shapes how leaders make critical business decisions in the technology sector.

Responsibilities

  • Conduct daily client inquiry mining to identify and qualify potential leads
  • Qualify leads directly with Sales channels (MSE, LE, GE) for size, scope, and decision-maker access before escalating to VPs
  • Produce sales and marketing materials, create marketing emails, and provide content for Account Executives
  • Support campaign management for client attendance at Gartner Conferences
  • Assist VPs with Gartner Sales territory management, meeting scheduling, and key account monitoring
  • Serve as primary contact for departmental inquiries from internal groups including Sales, EXP, EITL, Research Board, CSO and Gartner Research
  • Maintain Salesforce CRM system and keep territory pipeline updated for biweekly reporting and forecasting
  • Execute strategic project initiatives as business needs arise
  • Build and maintain relationships with clients, prospects, CIOs, and technology professionals

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree preferred
  • 4+ years of experience in Lead Generation or Client Services role
  • Strong proficiency with Microsoft Excel including pivot tables and VLOOKUPs
  • Strong proficiency in Microsoft PowerPoint and Outlook
  • Self-starter with innovative thinking capabilities
  • Ability to work in fast-paced environment with willingness to think outside the box
  • Interest or experience in IT-related industry

  • Knowledge of integrated marketing techniques
  • Salesforce CRM experience
