Role Overview

Join WATI.io as a GTM Engineer - Revenue Technology, where you'll design and build the intelligent systems that power our go-to-market engine. This role sits at the core of our transformation from structured growth to intelligent automation at scale, where systems, data, and AI work together to power revenue teams.

You'll work across Sales, Marketing, Customer Success, and RevOps to understand how GTM operates in reality and translate that into scalable systems. Your mission is to turn fragmented tools, workflows, and data into a unified, intelligent revenue engine, leveraging automation and AI to significantly improve team output and drive measurable business impact.

Responsibilities

Design and build systems to automate lead routing, pipeline movement, and lifecycle workflows
Sync data across CRM, billing, product, and support tools
Create real-time signals for sales, expansion, and retention
Own systems end-to-end from discovery through build, rollout, adoption, and iteration
Build sales automation workflows, account intelligence systems, and pipeline infrastructure
Develop expansion and churn detection engines
Build AI-powered systems to qualify and enrich leads
Detect buying signals and prioritize accounts
Surface deal risks and recommend next-best actions
Transform CRM, product usage, campaign, and conversation data into actionable insights
Continuously improve conversion rates, speed to lead, pipeline velocity, and sales productivity
Define success metrics and own outcomes end-to-end

Requirements

Experience building automation, integrations, or AI-driven systems in a SaaS or GTM environment
Strong understanding of business systems, workflows, APIs, and automation logic
Hands-on experience with CRM platforms, automation tools, or data systems
Proficiency with JavaScript, Python, Node.js, REST APIs, and Webhooks
Experience with SQL, BI tools, and dashboards
Comfort working with messy data and fast iteration cycles
Strong ownership mindset with focus on measurable business impact
Builder mindset - preference for creating systems over managing processes

Nice to Have

Experience with HubSpot and Intercom
Knowledge of billing systems like Stripe or Chargebee
Familiarity with automation tools like Clay, Zapier, Make, or n8n
Experience with LLM APIs, prompt engineering, and AI agents
