Role Overview

We are seeking a strategic and data-driven Marketing Automation Manager to lead our lifecycle and demand email marketing programs. This role will own the strategy, execution, and optimization of email initiatives that drive customer engagement, nurture leads, convert pipeline opportunities and drive ecommerce revenue.

The ideal candidate has deep B2B experience, understands complex customer journeys, and can leverage Eloqua (or a comparable enterprise Marketing Automation Platform) to deliver personalized, high-impact campaigns at scale. You'll work closely with demand generation, sales, brand, and e-commerce teams to create integrated marketing experiences that accelerate revenue growth.

Responsibilities

  • Design, build, and optimize always-on lifecycle campaigns (welcome, nurture, re-engagement, win-back)
  • Develop audience segmentation and targeting strategies to increase engagement and conversion
  • Create data flows and understand data architecture to leverage in Marketing Automation Platform
  • Partner with demand generation and sales teams to develop email campaigns that accelerate ecommerce revenue
  • Build triggered and event-based campaigns (e.g., content downloads, product interest, past purchase)
  • Manage Eloqua campaigns end-to-end: audience segmentation, workflow logic, A/B testing, QA, deliverability, and reporting
  • Analyze campaign performance (open, CTR, conversion, pipeline impact, etc.) and provide actionable insights
  • Drive continuous testing on subject lines, personalization, CTAs, and send cadence
  • Work with Brand/Creative to ensure messaging and design align with brand guidelines
  • Collaborate with E-commerce / Digital Marketing to integrate campaigns with paid, web, and social
  • Act as the Eloqua subject-matter expert: maintain data hygiene, and automation workflows
  • Ensure compliance with CAN-SPAM, GDPR, CCPA and other data privacy regulations

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Communications, Business, or a related field
  • 5–7 years of professional experience in marketing automation or a related digital marketing role
  • Hands-on experience with marketing automation platforms, with a strong preference for Oracle Eloqua
  • Deep understanding of B2B customer journeys and lifecycle marketing
  • Experience with audience segmentation and targeting strategies
  • Proficiency in campaign performance analysis and data-driven optimization
  • Knowledge of email marketing best practices and deliverability
  • Understanding of data privacy regulations (CAN-SPAM, GDPR, CCPA)

Nice to Have

  • Proven B2B marketing experience, ideally in a technology-driven environment
  • Experience with Oracle Eloqua specifically
  • Background in e-commerce marketing
