Role Overview

Appodeal is seeking a Head of Data & Automation to build and lead the data, analytics, and automation capabilities powering our mobile gaming business. This strategic role sits at the intersection of product, monetization, growth, and engineering, ensuring the company operates on accurate, unified data that enables fast, informed decision-making.

You will own the evolution of our data ecosystem, predictive modeling (including LTV), and automation systems, while integrating AI to accelerate internal processes and decision-making. Your work will directly impact how effectively we scale our portfolio of ad-monetized mobile games on a global scale.

Responsibilities

Own and evolve the company's data infrastructure and analytics ecosystem across BI tools, attribution platforms, monetization analytics, and internal dashboards
Establish and maintain a single source of truth for key business metrics with accuracy and consistency across all systems
Develop and maintain predictive LTV models used across UA, product, and monetization teams
Build and improve forecasting models for revenue, retention, and monetization performance
Identify manual processes and drive automation across teams for analytics, reporting, campaign monitoring, and diagnostics
Analyze product and business performance to generate actionable insights for product, monetization, and UA teams
Implement AI tools and agents for automated analysis, reporting, and experimentation diagnostics
Design systems that enable teams to quickly test hypotheses and evaluate results
Audit and improve data pipelines, tracking, and integrations across all services and tools
Support leadership with high-quality data insights for strategic decisions

Requirements

Strong experience in data analytics, data science, or data engineering in tech, gaming, or digital product companies
Proven track record of building and maintaining complex data ecosystems integrating multiple platforms
Experience developing predictive models, especially LTV and revenue forecasting
Strong understanding of product, monetization, and growth (UA) analytics
Experience building automation systems and improving operational efficiency
Solid understanding of data pipelines, ETL/ELT processes, and real-time analytics systems
Experience working with BI tools, attribution systems, and large-scale datasets
Understanding of ML applications in prediction, segmentation, and optimization
Strong analytical thinking and problem-solving mindset
Ability to work cross-functionally with product, engineering, UA, and leadership teams

Nice to Have

Coding experience in Python, SQL, or backend languages
Familiarity with AI tools and frameworks and interest in applying AI to business processes
Experience in mobile gaming industry
