Role Overview

Join Zenjob's Commercial Enablement Team as a Commercial Operations Specialist focused on AI & Automation. In this role, you'll help transform our Sales & Account Management processes by making them smarter, faster, and more scalable through innovative technology solutions.

You'll work at the intersection of AI, automation, and commercial operations, identifying efficiency opportunities and building practical solutions that drive real business impact. This is an exciting opportunity to shape the future of go-to-market processes at a leading AI-powered staffing platform that connects over 40,000 students with 1,000+ partner companies across Germany.

As part of a collaborative team, you'll have the chance to experiment with cutting-edge AI tools, build automation workflows, and directly contribute to scaling our commercial operations while working closely with Sales, Account Management, and Product teams.

Responsibilities

Analyze sales and commercial operations processes to identify efficiency opportunities
Build automation solutions to resolve operational inefficiencies using tools like n8n
Support integration of AI into commercial processes including lead generation and CRM workflows
Design and develop pragmatic workflows for rapid validation of new use cases using AI tools like ChatGPT, Gemini, or Claude
Connect tools and systems via APIs, webhooks, or no-code platforms
Collaborate closely with Sales, Account Management, Revenue Operations, Product & Engineering teams
Iteratively test, optimize, and scale working solutions
Support go-to-market process automation from lead generation to customer management

Requirements

Strong interest in how Sales & Go-to-Market teams operate
Structured thinking and pragmatic problem-solving approach
Interest in AI, automation, and digital business processes
Currently enrolled in studies with technical, digital, or business focus
Native-level German proficiency
Good English language skills

Nice to Have

Basic understanding of programming and web/API concepts
Previous projects or practical experience in technical or operational environments
Experience with automation tools and workflows
Familiarity with CRM systems and sales processes
