Position Summary The Data and Automation Specialist will play a key role in scoping, coordinating, and delivering automation initiatives for core investor reporting workflows. This position combines technical expertise, project management, and cross-functional collaboration to build and maintain data infrastructure and automation solutions that support investor and counterparty reporting processes. Reporting to the Investor Reporting Manager, this role partners closely with teams across Investor Relations, Finance, and Engineering to improve reporting scalability, efficiency, and operational effectiveness. This is a hybrid work environment position. Responsibilities Scope, coordinate, and deliver automation solutions for investor, lender, and counterparty reporting workflows. Support the development and maintenance of in-house automation tools and reporting solutions. Serve as the primary liaison between Client Service & Reporting and software engineering teams. Translate reporting and operational requirements into technical specifications for engineering teams. Partner with engineering teams to integrate internal and third-party data sources. Support the design and implementation of database infrastructure to organize and surface reporting data. Contribute to product launches by representing reporting and data requirements. Participate in firmwide technology and data initiatives supporting reporting operations. Collaborate cross-functionally with Finance, Engineering, Trading Operations, Client Research, and other internal teams. Qualifications 2+ years of experience in data operations, automation, technical operations, or related roles within financial services, asset management, hedge funds, or similar environments. Demonstrated experience managing cross-functional projects involving technical and non-technical stakeholders. Strong understanding of data pipelines, reporting systems, and database concepts. Hands-on experience with SQL, Python, or similar data and automation tools preferred. Experience collaborating with software engineering teams and translating business requirements into technical solutions. Excellent written and verbal communication skills. Intermediate to advanced Microsoft Excel skills required. Ability to work effectively with diverse teams across Finance, Engineering, Operations, and Research functions. Bachelor’s degree in a quantitative, technical, or related field, or equivalent practical experience.
