We place candidates on a permanent, full time basis (no contract or contract-to-hire positions). Job Description AI Automation Specialist Remote | 1099 Contract | Potential W2 Conversion We’re looking for an AI Automation Specialist who can help established businesses use AI and automation in practical, measurable ways. This is a remote 1099 contract role with the potential to convert to a full-time W2 position for the right person. This is not a strategy-only role. We need someone who can actually build, deploy, test and improve AI-powered workflows inside real business environments. What You’ll Do Deploy AI assistants such as Claude and ChatGPT within business environments, ideally using Team or Enterprise-level subscriptions Build and maintain automation workflows using n8n, Zapier or similar tools Connect AI tools into daily operations so teams can reduce repetitive manual work Help businesses improve turnaround times, internal capacity and overall efficiency Design, test and refine workflows that support real operational needs Work with business teams to understand bottlenecks and turn them into practical automation solutions Troubleshoot, improve and document workflows as they evolve What We’re Looking For Hands-on experience implementing Claude, ChatGPT or similar AI tools in business settings Experience with Team or Enterprise-level AI subscriptions is strongly preferred Strong automation experience with n8n preferred; Zapier experience is also valuable Ability to build practical workflows that solve real business problems Comfort working independently in a remote contract role Strong communication skills and the ability to translate business needs into working systems A bias toward implementation, testing and iteration — not just recommendations Why This Role Matters Most growing businesses lose time and momentum because their teams are buried in repetitive work.
