At Almirall, we are looking for a trainee to join our Global Customer Service & International Trade Data team.You will bring your knowledge in AI, data and automation, and apply it in a real operational environment where these capabilities are still growing. This is a unique opportunity to learn how the business works while contributing with your technical perspective, with the possibility of connecting your work to your Master’s Thesis. What will you learn and develop? Understand how Customer Service and International Trade operations work in a global pharmaceutical company Apply your knowledge of AI and automation to real use cases Learn how to translate business needs into practical, data-driven solutions Gain exposure to tools such as SAP, Veeva and automation platforms Develop skills in data analysis, process optimization and digital transformation What will your day-to-day look like? Learn and understand current business processes and challenges Identify opportunities where automation or AI could add value Contribute to the development of automation workflows and AI-based solutions Support SAP operational tasks (order management, data extraction, reporting) Collaborate on Veeva-related activities to improve data accuracy and streamline processes Perform data analysis, including data cleaning, dashboards and recurring reporting Work with cross-functional teams (Customer Service, Logistics, International Trade) Help prototype and test solutions such as chatbots or automation tools Document processes and solutions to ensure knowledge sharing What are we looking for? Students of Engineering, Computer Science, Telecommunications or similar areas, ideally pursuing a master's degree in Artificial Intelligence, Data, Automation or Advanced Technologies Strong interest in AI, automation and data-driven solutions Analytical mindset and strong problem-solving skills Proactive attitude and curiosity to understand business processes Ability to adapt and work in a dynamic, fast-paced environment Strong communication skills and attention to detail Hands-on experience with Power BI (data modeling, dashboards, data storytelling), Power Apps & Power Automate (process digitalization and automation) and Forms/Delve or other M365 collaboration tools Knowledge and practical application of generative AI tools in a business environment, including Microsoft Copilot, to optimize workflows and analytics. Responsibilities

  • The trainee will identify opportunities for AI and automation to optimize global customer service and international trade operations.
  • Key tasks include developing automation workflows, supporting SAP operational tasks, and creating data dashboards for reporting.

Requirements

  • Candidates should be students of Engineering, Computer Science, or Telecommunications, ideally pursuing a master's degree in AI or Data.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Power Platform and generative AI tools is required, with SAP familiarity being a plus.
