Role Overview

AI & Automation Intern (Remote) At Bamboo Works, we help companies around the world build high-performing remote teams. As part of our growth, we are actively investing in AI, automation, and internal technology to build smarter systems and improve operations across the business. We are looking for an ambitious and tech-driven intern who is excited about where AI is heading and wants hands-on experience working on real internal projects. In this role, you will collaborate directly with the leadership team to help develop AI-driven workflows, tools, applications, and operational improvements using modern AI-assisted development tools and automation platforms. This internship is ideal for someone who enjoys learning quickly, experimenting with emerging technologies, and turning ideas into practical solutions in a fast-moving remote environment. Location: Remote Internship Type: Part-time or Full-time Internship Preferred Duration: 6 months or longer Tasks & Responsibilities Assist in building internal tools, dashboards, automations, and lightweight applications Support the development of AI-powered workflows and operational improvements Research and test emerging AI tools, platforms, and technologies Work with AI-assisted coding environments and no-code/low-code automation tools Collaborate with management on new product and process ideas Help improve internal systems and team efficiency through automation Document processes, workflows, and technical implementations Participate in brainstorming and innovation sessions around AI and business operations Preferred Background & Qualifications Currently pursuing or recently completed a degree in Software Engineering, Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field Strong interest in AI, automation, and emerging technologies Familiarity with programming fundamentals and logical problem-solving Interest in building tools, apps, or automations Comfortable learning new technologies independently Strong communication skills and ability to collaborate remotely Experience with tools such as Claude Code, Codex, automation platforms, or AI tools is a plus What We Offer Hands-on experience working on real AI and automation initiatives Direct collaboration with the leadership team Flexible remote work environment Exposure to modern AI development workflows and tools Opportunity to experiment, contribute ideas, and build practical solutions Potential long-term career opportunities within Bamboo Works A young, international, and fast-moving team environment How to Apply Please share your CV/resume together with a short introduction about yourself, your technical interests, and any projects you’ve worked on.
